DR | BRAUN is me — Sebastian Braun. I've spent years developing motorcycle suspension and components, learning from the best in the field — including direct collaboration with the developer of SPV valve technology.
This knowledge flows into every tuning spec, every product. Not as theory, but as practice — test rig, test ride, iteration.
I've been obsessed with motorcycles for as long as I can remember. At 11, I had my first one — a Simson Habicht. My mother's, technically. Too lazy to ride my bicycle, I took it through the forest to school every morning. Then a MZ. Then many more. Mostly lightweight road bikes, enduros, and motocross machines.
That obsession turned into a profession. Years of developing electronics, software, suspension and components, learning from the best in the field. Vehicle development at mbtech, AKKA, and Akodis — prototype construction, system integration. Not at a desk, but on the hardware.
Data is at the core of everything I do. Years of working with AIM, 2D, GET, and MoTeC — and where existing solutions weren't enough, I built my own. Datalogging is not a tool I use occasionally. It's how I think. Numerous test rigs designed, built, and commissioned personally. Experience with systems from Roehrig, MTS, CTW, and Laba7.
Collaboration with superbike teams in Germany, England, and Italy. Motocross at national and international level.
